Along with being an educator, Juliet is a multimedia artist with a full-time job working at Parsons School of Design.

Art informs all aspects of her life, including her education practices.

Earning her master's at NYU, her thesis titled "Do You Fools Listen to Music or Do You Just Skim Through It?: Locating Trauma Through Hip-Hop"

focused on the ways in which hip-hop both highlights and heals trauma for members of the hip-hop community.
